So, you want to know more about me? Ok, but prepare yourself for some reading! Where shall I begin? Well, my name is Heather, I am 23 years old, I was born in Evansville, Indiana (which is in the southwestern part of the state) and lived there until June 1996 when I moved to Greenwood, Indiana (which is just south of Indianapolis). I don't know anyone in Greenwood, so it gets boring there. For my last two years of high school I went to a residential school called The Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities. It is located on the Ball State University campus in Muncie, Indiana. I graduated on Saturday, May 23, 1998! Woo hoo! I started college in summer 1998 at Purdue University. I was part of a new program called the Summer Start Program. I intended to major in Biology specializing in either Microbiology or Genetics and obtaining a minor in German and in Computer Science. But, things change...and I decided to switch to Computer Graphics with a minor in CPT (Computer Technology). What will I do with this? Only time will tell. I graduated on December 15, 2002. Oh, and sorry, but I ramble a lot, so you'll get a bunch of that throughout my page!

If you want to see how I have changed through the years, be sure to check out my various pages with pics! :-) Heather through the years, Misc pics of me and my family, and more miscellaneous pics.

I am a Christian, which is a major part of my life and who I am. I am a member of East Side Christian Church in Evansville (it's a Disciples of Christ church). But, since Greenwood and West Lafayette are both very far from Evansville, as you can imagine, I don't get to go there very often. While I was in Muncie, I went to The First Christian Church in New Castle, Indiana, which is about 30 minutes south of Muncie. It is also a Disciples of Christ Church. In Greenwood, I don't really have a church...we are still looking (sort of). The cool thing about my church in New Castle, is that the minister from my church in Evansville moved to the one in New Castle in February 1997 after being in Evansville for about 14 years. He's really nice, and I am glad that I could go to his church, even if only for awhile. Now that I am at Purdue I have the fun task of finding a new church...I just have to drag myself out of bed on Sunday morning and I'll be fine...it just hasn't happened yet... (shame on me!!)

I have a Christian web page which is one of my many web page projects. Check it out if you get a chance and actually want to. I can use any and all constructive criticism and suggestions about it. I haven't touched it in awhile, but you can read my personal testimony and some cool stories I have collected.

[Jen and Chad]
I have an older sister, Jennifer. (The pic is of her and one of her best friends, Chad, probably around 3 years ago) Jennifer is 24 1/2 years old, and she and I are good friends now. We have grown closer now that we are both older. To see more pictures of Jennifer, go to my pictures page! I was the maid of honor in her wedding on May 12, 2001. Congrats sissy! :-) As soon as I get around to it, I will scan in a picture of Jennifer and Cary (her husband) and his 3 kids (Elishia, Jennah, and Jonathon).

I used to have a parakeet named Angel. She died in her sleep early in the morning on April 21, 1998. I had her for over 10 1/2 years. I loved her very much. You can read my tribute to her. The only other pets I've ever had were a guinea pig and a goldfish (they were actually my sister's). Sunni, the guinea pig died when I was about 9, and I can only assume that the goldfish is dead now. We gave it to my pre-school a long time ago, when I was in elementary school. If that thing were still alive, well, it can't be. Fish don't live that long.

Let's see...what else do you want to know? Well, I am single, but I am not actively looking for a boyfriend. If I meet someone, then great! Anyway, I love getting e-mail, meeting new people, and making new friends! I guess if you want to know more about me, you can just write to me at hmkinney@yahoo.com!

Check out the Online Cliques I have joined! You just might learn more about who I am!
