I wake up early, long before the kid who sleeps in the bed above me. She doesn't clean much so I know I'll live a long time. I don't think she's ever seen me, but she has seen and killed some of my cousins. My cousins live under the bed across the room. I started out very small, but I grow everyday. Mama says I'm gonna be bigger than all of my brothers and sisters. She says it's because of my location. I get the most stuff to make me get bigger. Oh, I hear an alarm! It's off. There will be two more of those before the kid stays up. She is lazy and hates getting up in the mornings. I suppose I should plan my day. Well, there's not much a dust bunny like myself can do. I think I might exercise today and shed some pounds. I am a bit on the husky side, so it is always a good idea to shake off a layer and let it circulate through the room. The kid is allergic to us, so you can imagine that she's not too happy about us being here. There goes the last alarm. She'll be staying up now. She is pretty quiet while she gets ready for school. That makes my relatives happy because most of them like to sleep late.
So, what do I do all day? Glad you asked. Mostly I just hang around and talk to friends and family. Sometimes I go exploring around the room. That's always fun. And I always take at least 5 naps a day. Hey, I don't have anything better to do! It's boring being a dust bunny! Hmm, you look a little cramped under here. And your sneezing is getting worse. Maybe you should leave now. I hope you will come back and visit me sometime! I enjoy company! And maybe I'll have something more interesting to tell you and show you then. Oh, and if you can think of anything for me to do to entertain myself, let me know. I am open for suggestions! Well, you better get going before you keel over here. See ya! *sigh* Guess I'll just take a nap now.
