Lessons Learned

Pokey, the mutant orange horse, was walking through the woods one day when he stumbled upon a little hut made of Ritz crackers. He decided he was hungry and began nibbling on a corner of the house. Suddenly, a strange little green creature came waddling out of the hut. "Eat my house you will not! Mine it is!"
Pokey backed away, startled by this weird little man. The sound of a distant chopper began to grow louder. The little green thing spoke again. "Yoda must go. Hurry now. Hide must we!" A helicopter appeared through the treetops above and began shooting bullets at Yoda and Pokey. Frightened, Pokey ran off into the woods as fast as his little clay legs would let him. Yoda began screaming and waddled quickly off into the woods as well.
The cracker hut, damaged in the crossfire now stood there alone. Along came the Fanciful Purple Nile Crocodile and without noticing, trampled the little hut under its huge feet as it clambered aimlessly though the forest.
Moments later, Yoda reappeared and cried out, "Gone is my home. Stronger must I build it. No good are crackers for building." Pokey heard Yoda speaking, for he had not run far, and silently returned to the scene. He looked back and forth between Yoda and the pile of crumbs. Suddenly a giant rumble was heard. Yoda jumped and said, "Hungry are you? Eat my house you can." Pokey smiled and stepped up to the pile and began to eat. Yoda sighed and began to brainstorm what else he could use to build a house.

(That's the Fanciful Purple Nile Crocodile!!)

Explanation of story: We were given several objects to look at. We then had to create a story about them using symbolism. If you don't understand what was going through my weird warped mind as I wrote this on the last day of school, just ask!
